The scale and complexity of the challenges the EU is facing demand the best of us. Currently, we are looking for talented law graduates who are ready to take on a wide range of tasks in legal policy formulation, research and participation in international fora.
As a lawyer, you will provide legal advice, ensure the legality and the drafting quality of legal acts, conduct extensive legal research and analysis, and act as an agent of the institution concerned in judicial proceedings before the Court of Justice of the EU. You may also participate in inter-institutional negotiations for the adoption of EU legal acts, international fora meetings and communicate with legal advisers of foreign ministries and international organisations.

Do you have what it takes?
Are you an EU citizen with a thorough knowledge of at least 2 EU languages: Language 1 (one of the 24 EU official languages) and Language 2 (English or French)? Have you completed university studies of at least 4 years attested by a diploma in law, or are you authorised to pursue professional activities as a lawyer in an EU Member State?
