Are you experienced in human resources, safety and financial management? Do you have an excellent motivation to promote the values and interests of the EU around the world? Are you comfortable to move to different regions for work? The European External Action Service (EEAS) is currently looking for multi-talented staff to work in the Delegations as Heads of Administration.

As Head of Administration you will assist Heads of Delegations in the day-to-day running of the Delegation, in particular in proper management of administrative budget, human resources, logistics as well as safety and security of the Delegation. The European Union has 139 Delegations around the world that play a vital role in representing the EU and its citizens around the globe and building networks and partnerships. Working for the EEAS requires a high degree of mobility and flexibility. In the course of your career, you will alternate between different geographic regions and headquarters and/or job functions.

Do you have what it takes to apply?

You must be an EU citizen and know at least two official EU languages, one of which must be English or French.

To apply, you will need a level of post-secondary education of at least 2 years with a diploma in the area of law, business administration, human resources management, finance or accounting, logistics and building management or engineering, followed by at least 6 years’ professional experience related to the duties. Alternatively, you can have a secondary education attested by a diploma giving access to post-secondary education followed by at least 9 years’ professional experience related to the duties.
