Irish-language translators

Would you like to help citizens understand the role of the EU in their everyday lives and strengthen communication? Do you have a passion for languages? The EU institutions are looking for Irish-language translators!

As a translator, you will be translating from at least two source languages into your main language, as well as revising texts, carrying out terminology research and providing linguistic advice. Working with strict deadlines, you will deal with complex political, legal, economic, financial, scientific and technical texts covering all topics of the European Union.

Do you have what it takes?

You must be an EU citizen with a university degree of at least 3 years in any subject. You must have a perfect command of Irish and a good command of two other EU languages, one of which must be English, French or German.
