Are you a talented scientific research specialist? The European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) is currently looking for motivated staff, to mainly work in Seville, Petten, Ispra, Geel and Karlsruhe.

The Joint Research Centre operates close to the policy-making process serving the common interest of the EU Member States, while being independent of special interests.

As a scientific research specialist, you will provide customer-driven scientific and technical support for the conception, development, implementation and monitoring of EU policies.

Do you have what it takes to apply?

You must be an EU citizen and have a thorough knowledge of one of the 24 EU languages, as well as a satisfactory knowledge of either English, French, German, Italian or Spanish.

Additionally, you need a university degree of at least 4 years in a relevant scientific domain followed by at least 6 years’ professional experience relevant to the duties, or a university degree of at least 3 years in a relevant scientific domain followed by at least 7 years’ professional experience.
