What is a MOOC?
A 'MOOC', short for Massive Online Open Course aims to provide educational courses and preparation for examinations over the internet.
MOOCs were first introduced on the global stage in 2006 and have since become increasingly popular among leading international universities and organisations across the world.
Our MOOC (which as a pilot is currently available in English only) is designed to provide potential candidates with an extensive guide to EPSO's selection procedures, including the various stages and tests involved, an explanation of competency-based assessment, an overview of our eligibility requirements etc.
This interactive orientation course will be further improved and developed based on user feedback before being made available in all official EU languages.
Here is an overview of our modules:
- All you need to know before applying;
- How to apply successfully;
- How to increase your chances of success;
- Things to know about the Reserve List.
The modules listed above aim to simplify and explain our selection process while also providing useful tips and insights into daily life in the Institutions.
