F4E is responsible for providing Europe's contribution to ITER, the world’s largest scientific partnership that aims to demonstrate fusion as a viable and sustainable source of energy. ITER brings together seven parties that represent half of the world’s population – the EU, Russia, Japan, China, India, South Korea and the United States.
F4E´s traineeships programme aims to promote awareness, knowledge and understanding of F4E's role in the ITER project and within the European context, as well as to provide training to university graduates – in the field of nuclear engineering, physics, administration and communication.
Who can apply: Nationals of one of the EU Member States or Switzerland who have a University degree of at least 3 years of study (minimum a bachelor’s degree) and very good knowledge of English.
Duration: 4 to 9 months
Paid: Yes. Around 1.000€ per month and reimbursement of travel expenses
