The pandemic slowed us down but we got back on track! We ended March 2023, with no more ‘backlog’. The 2020 and 2021 competition cycles have been finalised. It’s a wrap! In 2022 alone, EPSO published 34 reserve lists, resulting in more than 1400 successful candidates. Since the start of 2023, EPSO published 13 reserve lists, resulting in more than 500 successful candidates. EPSO’s Director has decided to cancel Competition EPSO/AST/154/22 – Assistants (AST3), Accounting, Finance and Communication, with the support of EPSO’s governing body, the interinstitutional Management Board. On 31 January, EPSO’s governing body, the interinstitutional Management Board, decided to drop oral tests from EPSO’s selection procedures, as part of a fundamental rethink of the current selection process. Competitions will put greater emphasis on candidates’ qualifications and on a set of written tests, all to be conducted in one testing session.
