European Committee of the Regions

Based in Brussels, the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) is an EU advisory body composed of locally and regionally elected representatives coming from all EU Member States. Through the CoR they are able to share their opinion on EU legislation that directly impact regions and cities.

In order to be recruited as an official at the CoR, you need to pass an open competition organised at the inter-institutional level by the European Personnel Selection Office. The European Committee of the Regions also employs temporary or contract staff. Employees of local, regional and national bodies or intergovernmental organisations may also apply for positions as seconded national experts.
