If the Selection Board were to readmit you following review, you would re-enter the process at the step where you had been excluded, regardless of how far the competition has progressed in the meantime.
What happens if I am readmitted after review but the competition has already progressed to the next step?
I have submitted a request for review and have not received a reply, should I send a reminder?
If you received an acknowledgment of receipt after you sent your initial complaint, you should not send a reminder unless a significant time has passed since you wrote.
The replies to review can take several weeks to prepare. The Selection Board must meet to decide, and only after that are the replies prepared and sent.
I have a disability and have had problems accessing the EPSO account and/or website during my selection procedure. Whom should I contact to share my observations and recommendations?
Accessibility is very important to EPSO. We continually work to improve the accessibility of our communication and selection procedures.
However, if you run into difficulties linked to the accessibility of your EPSO account or our website, please contact us to share your observations and recommendations.
If necessary, EPSO produces adapted formats accessible to assistive technology
Your feedback is essential to us. It helps us improve our services by making them more accessible to everyone.
You can find out more about EPSO's work to improve accessibility on our equal opportunities webpage.
What should I do if I feel that I was not treated fairly during my competition due to my difference(s)?
EPSO places great importance on equality, diversity and inclusion, and makes every effort to respect equal opportunities, equal treatment and equal access for all its applicants.
If you feel that you have been treated in an unfair or discriminatory way, due to one or more of the following characteristics: sex, race, colour, ethnic or social origin, genetic features, language, religion or belief, political or any other opinion, membership of a national minority, property, birth, disability, age or sexual orientation, please contact us straight away to share your observations and feelings.
We pay a lot of attention to feedback from applicants, who are at the heart of our policies and practices on equality, diversity and inclusion management. For more information on how we put these policies into practice, please see our webpage dedicated to equal opportunities.
Can I get more detailed comments in my competency passport?
The Passport is only meant to give a global overview of strengths and weaknesses per competency. It is provided by EPSO for the sake of transparency. It is, however, not an obligation since communication of the marks obtained for each competency constitutes an adequate and sufficient justification of the Board's decisions.
Can i receive my score for each test?
No. Marks are awarded solely on the basis of competencies as examined across several tests, as per your competency passport.
I noticed divergent scores for the same competency awarded in the context of different competitions. There must be an evaluation mistake
You cannot invoke the results obtained in another competition in order to successfully challenge a decision taken with regard to your performance in a test.
I noticed a discrepancy between different assessments in my competency passport. there must be a mistake
Be aware that qualitative assessments given in the competency passport are specific to each exercise and since the candidate's performance for a given competency may vary from one exercise to another, these assessments may also vary.
I noticed a discrepancy between the comments for my knowledge-based interview and the score I obtained at the talent screener stage. Is there a mistake?
Talent Screening is part of the admission phase where the selection is carried out solely on the basis of the information provided in the 'Talent Screener' tab of the application form whereas a knowledge-based interview is a structured interview that is also partly based on the information provided in the 'Talent Screener' tab, but is meant to assess your specific competencies. As your score may have varied according to your performance, a high score in the Talent Screener does not necessarily lead to a high score in the structured interview.
