Períodos de prácticas en las instituciones, agencias y organismos de la UE

El programa de prácticas se dirige principalmente a jóvenes titulados universitarios, sin excluir a quienes, en el marco del aprendizaje permanente, hayan obtenido recientemente un título universitario y estén iniciando una nueva carrera profesional.

Quién puede solicitarlo:

• Los ciudadanos de los Estados miembros de la Unión Europea a partir de los 18 años de edad.
• Los candidatos que tengan un nivel de formación correspondiente a un ciclo completo de estudios universitarios, acreditado por un título expedido en un Estado miembro de la UE u objeto de un certificado de convalidación expedido por las autoridades de un Estado miembro, cuando la duración normal de la enseñanza universitaria sea de tres años o más.
• Los candidatos que no hayan disfrutado ya de ningún tipo de período de prácticas en una institución u organismo de la Unión Europea, ni hayan desempeñado ningún tipo de empleo en una institución u organismo de la Unión Europea.

Duración: 6 meses

Remunerado: sí. 600 euros (asignación mensual) y 350 euros (indemnización de alojamiento).

Fechas de inicio: 1 de septiembre o 1 de marzo.

Los/Las estudiantes que deseen finalizar un proyecto de estudios o que tengan curiosidad por saber cómo contribuyen a la legislación de la UE las autoridades locales y regionales en ámbitos como la ciudadanía, la cohesión, el cambio climático, la contratación pública y la seguridad pueden presentar su candidatura para una visita de estudio de corta duración. Las visitas de estudio constituyen una excelente oportunidad para descubrir la dimensión geográfica de las políticas de la UE y ofrecen la posibilidad de reforzar la preparación académica con experiencia de primera mano del funcionamiento de un órgano consultivo de la UE.

Las visitas de estudio son prácticas no remuneradas por el Comité. Para poder optar a una visita de estudio, los candidatos deberán:

• aportar justificante de recibir financiación por otro organismo —universidad, organismo público/privado u ONG— en forma de beca, ayuda, etc.
• o aportar justificante de que la visita de estudio forma parte integrante de su formación (por ejemplo, es necesaria dentro de la investigación para la tesis o a fin de completar los estudios).

Quién puede solicitarlo: Ciudadanos/as de la Unión Europea.

Los/las ciudadanos/as de terceros países (incluido el Reino Unido) pueden presentar su candidatura y ser seleccionados en casos excepcionales, especialmente si su candidatura reviste un interés particular para el CDR y si cumplen los requisitos de la legislación nacional en materia de inmigración para residir y trabajar legalmente en Bélgica.

Los candidatos deben poseer al menos un título de grado (o haber completado la mitad de un ciclo de estudios de grado considerados pertinentes para la labor del Comité).

Candidatos/as con un conocimiento excelente de una de las lenguas oficiales de la UE y un conocimiento satisfactorio de francés o de inglés.

Duración: 1 a 4 meses (ampliable a 6 meses, en función de los recursos disponibles)

The EBA offers paid traineeships for recent graduates with the aim to provide them with a unique and first-hand experience of the workings of the EBA, an understanding of the objectives including goals of financial regulation and oversight generally, and specifically of the objectives of the EBA. The selected trainees will have the opportunity to develop expertise in the areas of Executive Office, Prudential Regulation and Supervision, Innovation, Conduct and Consumers, Economic and Risk Analysis, Data Analysis, Reporting and Transparency,  Operations, Governance and External Affairs and Legal and Compliance. They will contribute to the everyday work of the Authority and learn about the EU Agencies’ working environment while enjoying an exciting life in Paris.

Who can apply: Nationals of an EU or EEA member state who have completed the first cycle (bachelor’s degree) of a higher education course (university education) and obtained a full degree or its equivalent prior the submission of the traineeship application (note that the last education diploma has to have been obtained no longer than three years prior to the submission of the application).

Duration: initial period of 6 (six) months and can be extended for a further period of up to 12 (twelve) months, not exceeding a total duration of 18 (eighteen) months.

Paid: Traineeship grant (30% of the basic salary for grade AD5 step 1, multiplied by the weighting factor for Paris, France).

El programa está abierto al personal o a becarios de administraciones públicas nacionales, regionales o locales de Estados miembros de la UE y ofrece, tanto al Comité como a la institución empleadora, la oportunidad de mejorar la colaboración y entablar contactos. Además, los funcionarios que participan en estos intercambios tienen ocasión de conocer mejor el trabajo del Comité y, al mismo tiempo, desarrollar sus capacidades, competencias y conocimientos.

Quién puede solicitarlo: el personal de administraciones públicas nacionales, regionales o locales de los Estados miembros de la UE.

Ciudadanos/as de terceros países (incluido el Reino Unido) pueden presentar su candidatura y ser seleccionados en casos excepcionales, en particular si su candidatura reviste un interés particular para el CDR y si cumplen los requisitos de la legislación nacional en materia de inmigración para residir y trabajar legalmente en Bélgica.

Los candidatos deben poseer al menos un título de grado (o haber completado la mitad de un ciclo de estudios de grado considerados pertinentes para la labor del Comité) y trabajar en un puesto de nivel y contenido correspondientes a las funciones desempeñadas por el personal de la UE en el Comité de las Regiones.

Se exige un excelente conocimiento de francés o de inglés.

Duración: de 2 a 6 meses (ampliable a 12 meses).

Remuneración: La remuneración corre por cuenta de la institución de origen.

Fechas de inicio: en cualquier momento, previo acuerdo

The European Court of Auditors organises three traineeship sessions per year in areas of interest to its work.

Who can apply: EU nationals who either hold a recognised university-level diploma or who have completed at least four semesters of university study in an area of interest to the Court (Audit, Budget, Accounting, Administration, Human Resources, Translation, Communication, International Relations, Legal).

Duration: 3 to 5 months.

Paid: They may be paid (1 500 euros/month) or unpaid, depending on the budgetary appropriations available.

Starting Dates: 01 March, 01 May and 01 October, every year.

EDA annually runs a 1-year Traineeship Programme aimed at recent university graduates who want to transition to the world of work in an organisation at the heart of defence cooperation in Europe.

The JRC offers a stimulating, multicultural and multi-disciplinary research environment for trainees. 

Who can apply: Nationals of the Member States of the EU or of the countries associated to the Research Framework Programmes. 

Duration: 3 to 5 months.

Paid: Yes. Amount depending on place of recruitment.

Starting Dates: October and March (2 arrival session on a yearly basis).

ECHA is looking for newly qualified graduates who are willing to contribute to the everyday work of the Agency.

There are up to 20 graduate traineeship opportunities per year in scientific fields such as chemistry, toxicology, biology, environmental science, and technologies, as well as in administrative fields such as law, communications, finance, human resources, and ICT. The traineeships usually start in the beginning of March or September.

The trainee scheme is designed for:

• Recent university graduates and holders of a technical or professional qualification of an equivalent level in fields relevant to applicable chemicals legislation or other fields relevant to the administration tasks of an EU institution
• Public or private sector employees engaged in graduate-level work in fields relevant to applicable chemicals legislation.

Duration

Traineeships last six months and may not be extended beyond this period.

Grants

The graduate trainee scheme offers a grant of approximately €1632.

Trainees who continue to receive remuneration from their employer, or any other grant or allowance will only be entitled to a grant from ECHA if the amount they receive is less than the one indicated above. In this case, trainees will receive an amount equal to the difference between their income and the level of ECHA's grant.

Trainees in employment must provide a declaration of remuneration, expenses and allowances signed by their employer.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for a graduate traineeship, you must:

• Be a national of a Member State of the EU or a national of the European Economic Area (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein). Nationals of candidate countries benefiting from a pre-accession strategy can also be accepted according to the availability of budgetary resources and the ECHAs capacity to host them. A limited number of nationals of non-Member States may also be accepted.
• Be able to communicate in English as this is the working language of ECHA.
• Have obtained a university degree or equivalent or you are engaged in graduate-level work in fields relevant ECHA.

You will be invited for a telephone interview if you are selected.

Trainees do not benefit from sickness insurance. Before the start of your traineeship, you must prove you are covered by a sickness and accident insurance valid in Finland.

Traineeships are not offered to applicants who have already been a trainee in a European institution or body, employed by a European institution or body, or worked for ECHA as an interim staff member, researcher or in house expert for more than eight weeks.
